Shipping

As you have probably noticed, shipping and freight has become more expensive of late. Since we are not shipping the high volumes which form the basis for most shipping company discounts, we can’t offer vastly reduced shipping costs like some other retailers, or free shipping at a certain threshold. Yet. You can help us increase volume, and decrease shipping costs by spreading the word to fellow hobbyists about those products you find useful. The more we ship, the more shipping costs will go down.

We offer real-time, actual shipping rates for USPS and UPS, whichever is cheaper for you. We never up-charge on shipping. Each item is usually made-to order within 3-5 business days, and is shipped thereafter. You will be notified with tracking information when your item ships, and upon any shipping delays. 

International Shipping
International shipping has proven more complex and expensive than it should be, with no reliable way to calculate at checkout what your particular country's import duties/taxes will be, on top of shipping charges. If placing an order for international shipping, we will notify you that these duties/taxes will need to be paid to UPS directly by you when you receive your package, and that we can't accurately predict what they will be. We have seen them vary widely. We will notify you via email of the existence of these charges when you place your order, with the option to cancel your order if taking responsibility for these additional duties/taxes is not acceptable to you.
